The Datasensing SH2/R-0EIC Sensors are advanced safety sensor receivers designed for optimal performance in industrial environments. Featuring a robust M18 plastic housing with an axial connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 10 meters, making them ideal for applications requiring precise detection. The sensors are compliant with EN50100 Category 2 and Category 4 standards, ensuring high safety levels when used with compatible safety control units.
Equipped with LED indicators for easy alignment, the SH2/R-0EIC sensors operate on a frequency of 123 kHz and are adaptable with any safety module that meets IEC61131-2 standards. The sensors boast a single-beam resolution and an effective aperture angle of ? ±5°, with a typical angle of ±1.8°, ensuring accurate and reliable performance.
Designed to withstand harsh conditions, these sensors operate within a temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and can be stored in temperatures as low as -40°C. They are protected against dust and water ingress with an IP67 rating and are approved by CE and TÜV for quality assurance. The sensors are also resistant to shocks and vibrations, adhering to IEC600068-2-29 and 60068-2-6 standards.
With a totem-pole output type, the SH2/R-0EIC sensors have a response time of 200µs for light/dark transitions and 400µs for dark/light transitions. They operate on a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a load current of ? 70mA. The sensors come with two nuts for easy installation and feature a glass active head material for enhanced durability.
Please note that these sensors are not compatible with the SBCR03 control unit and should be used with an external safety control unit that includes an automatic optics test function to ensure a complete safety system compliant with EN ISO 13849 standards.
