The Datasensing SH2/R-1KIC Sensors are advanced safety sensor receivers designed for optimal performance in industrial environments. Featuring a robust M18 metal housing, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 10 meters with an axial connection and are equipped with an M12 90° I/O interface compliant with IEC61131-2 standards. The sensors operate at a frequency of 123 kHz and are ideal for use in safety systems requiring EN ISO 13849 compliance when paired with a Category 2 or Category 4 safety control unit. These Type 2 safety photocell receivers boast a single-beam resolution and an effective aperture angle of ? ±5°, ensuring precise detection capabilities. With a response time of 200µs for light/dark transitions and 400µs for dark/light transitions, they provide rapid and reliable performance. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a load current of ? 70mA. Built to withstand harsh conditions, the SH2/R-1KIC Sensors feature a PBT housing and a glass active head material, offering protection against shocks and vibrations as per IEC60068-2-29 and IEC60068-2-6 standards. They are rated IP67 for mechanical protection, making them suitable for use in environments with humidity levels ranging from 15% to 95% and temperatures between -20°C and +55°C. The sensors are equipped with yellow LED indicators for alignment and come with two nuts for easy installation.
