The Datasensing SH2/R-2EIC Sensors are advanced safety sensor receivers designed for optimal performance and reliability. Featuring a compact M18 design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 5 meters with a radial optic configuration. They are equipped with a 90° M12 I/O connection, ensuring seamless integration with various safety modules compliant with IEC61131-2 standards.
Engineered for safety, the SH2/R-2EIC Sensors are Type 2 PLc rated and comply with EN50100 Category 2 and Category 4 standards, making them suitable for use in safety systems that meet EN ISO 13849 requirements. The sensors boast a single-beam resolution and an effective aperture angle of ? ±5°, with a typical angle of ±1.8°, ensuring precise detection capabilities.
Constructed with a durable PBT plastic housing and a glass active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering an IP67 degree of protection. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -20°C to +55°C and can be stored in temperatures as low as -40°C. The sensors are also designed to handle humidity levels between 15% and 95%.
The SH2/R-2EIC Sensors feature LED indicators for easy alignment and are powered by a 10 to 30 Vdc operating voltage. They have a no-load supply current of 360 mA and a load current of ? 70mA, with a response time of 200µs for light/dark transitions and 400µs for dark/light transitions. The sensors are approved by CE and TÜV, ensuring compliance with international safety standards.
Please note that these sensors are not compatible with the SBCR03 control unit and should be used with an external safety control unit that includes an automatic optics test function. Supplied with two nuts for easy installation, the Datasensing SH2/R-2EIC Sensors are an ideal choice for enhancing safety in industrial applications.
