The Datasensing SH4-14-0450-S-8 is a high-performance Type 4 safety light curtain designed for optimal finger protection with a resolution of 14 mm. It features an extended monitored height of up to 450 mm and an improved operating range of 10 meters, making it ideal for various industrial applications. The compact profile of 35 x 40 mm ensures easy integration into existing systems, while the zero dead zone design enhances safety and efficiency. This safety light curtain is equipped with both manual and automatic restart functions, as well as EDM (External Device Monitoring) capabilities, providing flexibility and reliability in operation. The optical synchronization with 2 beams and LED indications for beam intensity simplify installation and maintenance. Constructed from durable materials such as painted aluminum and MAKROLON AR 7099 Clear PC, the SH4-14-0450-S-8 is built to withstand harsh environments, with an IP67 protection rating and an operating temperature range of -30 to +55 °C. It is also resistant to shocks and vibrations, ensuring long-term durability and performance. The device operates on a 24 Vdc power supply and features 2 x PNP-NO (OSSD safety output) with EDM, supporting a load current of up to 250mA per output.
