The Datasensing SH4-14-0900-SM-8 is a compact, no-dead-zone standard muting safety light curtain designed for optimal finger protection with a resolution of 14 mm. It features an extended monitored height of 900 mm and an improved operating range of up to 10 meters. This Type 4 safety light curtain offers a variety of functions including manual and automatic restart, EDM, and muting capabilities such as 2-signals mono and bidirectional muting, override, and partial muting. The device is equipped with integrated LED muting indication and optical synchronization with 2 beams, ensuring precise alignment and operation. The SH4-14-0900-SM-8 is built with a robust, compact profile measuring 35 x 40 mm, and is constructed from durable materials like painted aluminum and MAKROLON AR 7099 Clear PC. It is designed to withstand harsh environments with an IP67 protection rating and an operating temperature range of -30 to +55°C. The unit is also resistant to shocks and vibrations, adhering to EN 60068-2-6 and EN 60068-2-27 standards. Installation is simplified with LED indications of beam intensity and the inclusion of standard "L" mounting brackets.
