The Datasensing SH4-30-2100-SM-8 is a high-performance Type 4 safety light curtain designed for optimal hand protection with a resolution of 30 mm and a controlled height of 2100 mm. It features an improved operating range of up to 20 meters and offers essential functions such as alignment and automatic restart. The device supports both manual and automatic restart, EDM, and standard muting functions, including 2-signals mono and bidirectional muting, as well as override capabilities. Configuration is made simple with DIP-SW, and the unit boasts an extended monitored height of up to 2250 mm. Its compact profile (35 x 40 mm) is consistent across the SH4 line, and installation is facilitated by LED indicators that display beam intensity. The SH4-30-2100-SM-8 is equipped with optical synchronization using 2 beams and provides IP67 protection, ensuring reliable operation in temperatures ranging from -30 to +55 °C. The product is designed with zero dead zones and includes a complete couple and angular bracket in the package. Anti-interference codes and muting accessories are available, featuring prewired and preinstalled muting sensors. The system is cascadable with SH4 CASCADE, accommodating up to three units. It utilizes pigtails with M12 connectors and standard non-shielded cables, and it integrates an LED muting indication for enhanced usability. With a nominal sensing distance of 0.2 to 20 meters, the SH4-30-2100-SM-8 operates on a 24 Vdc ± 20% voltage, supporting a load current of ? 250mA per output.
