The Datasensing SH4/R-3EIC Sensors are advanced safety sensor receivers designed for high-performance applications. Featuring a robust M18 metal housing, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 5 meters with an axial connection via an M12 plug. They are compliant with IEC61131-2 standards and operate at a frequency of 123 kHz. The sensors are equipped with LED indicators for alignment, ensuring precise and reliable operation.
Engineered for safety, the SH4/R-3EIC Sensors are Type 4 PLe receivers, suitable for use in safety systems compliant with EN ISO 13849 when paired with a Category 2 or Category 4 safety control unit. They boast a high safety integrity level (SIL 3) and performance level (PL e), with a PFHd of 8.10E-10 and an MTTFd of 20 years, ensuring long-term reliability and safety.
The sensors feature a totem-pole output type, with a rapid response time of 200µs for light/dark transitions and 400µs for dark/light transitions. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30 Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 25mA and a load current of ? 70mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at 2.5V @ 50mA, and they can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 5 Vpp.
Built to withstand harsh environments, the SH4/R-3EIC Sensors have an IP67 degree of protection, making them resistant to dust and water ingress. They are approved by CE and TÜV, and can endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC60068-2-29 and IEC60068-2-6 standards. The sensors operate efficiently in temperatures ranging from -20°C to +55°C and can be stored in temperatures as low as -40°C and as high as +75°C, with a humidity tolerance of 15% to 95%.
Please note that these sensors are not compatible with the SBCR03 control unit and should be used with an external safety control unit featuring an automatic optics test function. Supplied with two nuts for easy installation, the Datasensing SH4/R-3EIC Sensors are an ideal choice for ensuring safety and reliability in industrial applications.
