The Datasensing SS4/LP-0E Sensors are advanced photoelectric sensors designed for precise and reliable detection. Featuring a diffuse reflection function with a nominal sensing distance of 200mm, these sensors are ideal for short-distance applications. The PNP LOn output type ensures efficient signal processing, while the axial optic position enhances accuracy. With a robust housing made from PBT/PC and an active head crafted from PMMA, these sensors are built to withstand challenging environments, offering IP67 mechanical protection.
Key specifications include a repeat accuracy of 5%, a sensitivity adjustment via trimmer, and a switching frequency of 250Hz. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10
30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ?30mA and a load current of ?100mA. They are equipped with LED infrared emission at 880nm, providing excellent interference resistance to external light sources up to 3000lux (incandescent) and 10000lux (sunlight).
Additional features include short-circuit and reverse polarity protection, impulsive overvoltage protection, and a time delay before availability of ?200ms. The sensors come with M12 plug connections and are supplied with M18 x 1 nuts and a screwdriver for easy installation. Approved by CE and cULus, and compliant with EMC standard EN 60947-5-2, these sensors are designed to perform reliably in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, without freezing.
