The Datasensing UK1A/G4-0ASY Sensors are advanced ultrasonic sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 analog design, these sensors offer a 4-20 mA output with NPN NO/NC functionality, suitable for a range of applications with a sensing distance of 50-400 mm. The 2-meter cable and teach-in button facilitate easy setup and operation. Constructed with durable plastic and compliant with cULus standards, these sensors are equipped with digital programmable outputs and current or voltage analogue outputs. The adjustable hysteresis function and programmable double digital outputs make them ideal for level-specific applications.
The working area can be adjusted using the teach-in button, allowing for quick and efficient setup. A multifunction LED indicator provides clear feedback on output type, adjustment procedures, and NO/NC selection, as well as reverse analog output slope. With a nominal sensing distance of 400mm and a thermal drift of ±2%, these sensors ensure high accuracy with a repeat accuracy of 0.50% and a resolution of ?3mm.
The sensors feature a diffuse reflection function principle, with a beam angle of 10° ± 2°, and offer both NO/NC and positive/negative slope output functions. They operate at a switching frequency of 10Hz and have a response time of 500ms. Designed to withstand harsh environments, they offer short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, and are rated IP67 for mechanical protection.
With a robust PBT housing, these sensors are built to endure operating temperatures from -20°C to +70°C and storage temperatures from -35°C to +80°C. They come with supplied accessories including two M18x1 nuts and two Ø 18 washers, ensuring easy installation.
