The Datasensing UK1A/G4-0ESY Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in various industrial applications. Featuring an M18 NPN output with a 4..20mA current loop, these sensors offer versatile connectivity through an M12 connector. They are equipped with digital programmable outputs and can be configured for current or voltage analogue outputs, making them adaptable to different operational needs. The adjustable hysteresis function, along with programmable double digital outputs, is ideal for level-specific applications.
The sensors allow for easy working area adjustments using a Teach-in button, ensuring quick setup and operation. A multifunction LED indicator provides clear feedback on output type, adjustment procedures, and NO/NC selection, as well as reverse analog output slope. With a nominal sensing distance of 400mm and a thermal drift of ±2%, these sensors maintain high accuracy and stability.
Additional features include a beam angle of 10° ± 2°, a resolution of ?3mm, and a sensitivity adjustment via the Teach-in button. The sensors are equipped with thermal compensation, a minimum sensing distance of 50mm, and a linearity error of 1%. They operate on a diffuse reflection principle and offer both NPN and 4...20mA output types with NO/NC and positive/negative slope functions.
With a switching frequency of 10Hz and a response time of 500ms, these sensors are efficient and responsive. They operate within a voltage range of 10 - 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ?50mA and a load current of 100mA. The sensors are protected against short-circuits, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage, ensuring durability and safety.
Constructed with a robust PBT housing, the sensors are IP67 rated for mechanical protection and can withstand operating temperatures from -20°C to +70°C. They are CE and cULus approved, with EMC compatibility according to IEC 60947-5-2 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts and two Ø 18 washers, these sensors are ready for immediate installation and use.
