The Datasensing UK6A/HN-1EUL Sensors are advanced M18 diffuse reflection sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a short housing, these sensors offer both digital and analogue outputs, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 300mm and a thermal drift of Sr at ?2%, they ensure consistent performance. The sensors boast a repeat accuracy of 0.50% and a beam angle of 7° ± 2°, providing precise detection capabilities.
Equipped with a teach-in button for sensitivity adjustment, they offer a resolution of ?2mm and a hysteresis of 1%. The sensors are thermally compensated, ensuring stable operation across a wide temperature range of -20°C to +70°C. They feature a minimum sensing distance (blind zone) of 40mm and a linearity error of just 1%.
The UK6A/HN-1EUL sensors operate on a diffuse reflection principle with an NPN output type and NO/NC output function. They support a switching frequency of 8Hz and a response time of 400ms, powered by an operating voltage of 10 - 30Vdc. With a no-load supply current of ?35mA at 30V and a load current of 100mA, they are energy-efficient.
Designed with durability in mind, the sensors are housed in stainless steel AISI 316L, offering IP67 mechanical protection. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, ensuring robust performance in demanding environments. The sensors come with M12 plug connections and are supplied with two M18x1 nuts and two Ø 18 washers for easy installation.
Approved by CE and cULus, and compliant with EMC compatibility IEC 60947-5-2, these sensors are built to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC EN60947-5-2 / 7.4 standards.
