The Datasensing VK2/C0-2B Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for reliable proximity detection. Featuring an M18 unshielded NC cable with a 2-meter length, these sensors are equipped with a cable and M12 plug cable exit for versatile connectivity. They operate on a multivoltage range of 20 to 253 Vac, ensuring compatibility with various power sources. With an IP67 protection degree, these sensors are built to withstand harsh environments, offering robust mechanical protection against dust and water ingress. The VK2/C0-2B model boasts a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, making it ideal for precise detection tasks. It is designed to work with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360, and features correction factors for different materials such as copper (0.40), aluminium (0.45), brass (0.55), and stainless steel (0.95). The sensor maintains a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a switching frequency of 25Hz and an operating voltage range of 20 to 250Vac at 50 to 60Hz, the VK2/C0-2B supports a load current of 5 to 300mA and a leakage current of ? 1mA RMS max. The output type is TRIAC with an NC output function, and the sensor includes a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility. It features a time delay before availability of ? 200ms and can handle an inrush current of 7A (Ton = 10ms). Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, the sensor is durable and reliable. It is designed for unshielded mounting with a tightening torque of 25Nm. The VK2/C0-2B operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C and complies with CE and UR approvals, as well as EMC compatibility with IEC 60947-5-2 standards. It also meets vibration and shock resistance standards (Vibration IEC 60068-2-6 / Shock IEC 60068-2-27).
