Description

This Modicon MCM standard ("non-safe") communication module has one Modbus TCP/IP connection with a RJ45 connector. It is designed to monitor remotely your safety system with the commonly used Modbus TCP/IP protocol, without additional gateways. It has a rated supply voltage of 24V DC. It is furnished with spring clamp terminals, removable terminal block for electrical connection. It is an IP20 rated product. The non-safe communication modules are designed for diagnostics connection and data communication purposes to machine field bus or network systems. Its transmission rate varies from 10Mbit/s to 100Mbit/s. This communication module is connected to the safety controller via the backplane expansion connector. It weighs 0.3kg. Its dimension are 22.5mm (Depth), 99mm (Height) and 114.5mm (Width). Its housing is red. It is powered with 24 VDC. The maximum cable distance between two devices is 100m. This Modicon MCM standard ("non-safe") communication module is certified by RCM, CULus and TÜV. Compatible accessories for Modicon MCM module are a memory card and the backplane connector. The communication module instals on Omega 35mm DIN rail conforming to EN 50022, and is connected to the safety controller via the backplane expansion connector.
