Description

This Modicon MCM standard ("non-safe") communication module has one Universal Serial Bus connection with a Mini USB connector. It is designed to monitor remotely your safety system with the commonly used Universal Serial Bus protocol, without additional gateways. It is furnished with screw clamp terminals, removable terminal block for electrical connection. It is an IP20 rated product. The non-safe communication modules are designed for diagnostics connection and data communication purposes to machine field bus or network systems. Its transmission rate is 12Mbit/s. This communication module is connected to the safety controller via the backplane expansion connector. It weighs 0.3kg. Its dimension are 22.5mm (Depth), 99mm (Height) and 114.5mm (Width). Its housing is red. It is powered with 24 VDC. The maximum cable distance between two devices is 5m. This Modicon MCM standard ("non-safe") communication module is certified by RCM, CULus and TÜV. Compatible accessories for Modicon MCM module are a memory card and the backplane connector. The module instals on Omega 35mm DIN rail conforming to EN 50022.
