The SMC LEY16C-200B-S5C918 is a versatile electric actuator from the LEY Series, designed for precision and efficiency. This rod type step motor operates on a 24 VDC servo, making it compatible with the JXC Series controllers. It features a long stroke capability of up to 500 mm and offers flexible mounting options with direct mounting in three directions and bracket mounting in three types. The actuator supports auto switch installation and provides advanced speed control and positioning with a maximum of 64 points. Users can choose between positioning or pushing control, allowing the actuator to hold its position against a workpiece. With a positioning repeatability of ±0.02 mm or less, it ensures high precision in operations. The actuator is built to withstand challenging environments with its IP65 dust and drip-proof specification. It is compatible with a range of controllers, including JXC51, JXC61, and others, although some models have been discontinued. The LEY Series also includes high output AC servo motors with power options of 100, 200, or 400 W, offering improved high-speed transfer ability and high acceleration compatibility up to 5,000 mm/S2. The actuator is equipped with an internal absolute encoder and supports pulse input type, ensuring reliable and accurate performance. Compatible drivers include LECSA, LECSB(-T), and others, with some models no longer in production.
