Datasensing AE1/AN-3A Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/AN-3A Sensors are designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. These inductive sensors feature an extremely compact design with a robust metal housing, ensuring durability and longevity. The 360° visible LED status indicator provides clear operational feedback, while the IP67 housing protection guarantees resistance against dust and water ingress. For environments requiring additional safety measures, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. Engineered for complete protection against electrical damages, these sensors offer both standard and long-distance models, as well as standard and short body housing options. With a nominal sensing distance of 2mm and an operating distance of 0 to 1.62mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors exhibit a thermal drift of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5%, ensuring consistent performance. The AE1/AN-3A Sensors are equipped with NPN output type and NO output function, supporting a switching frequency of 5kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors are designed with short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors are built to withstand harsh conditions, with an operating temperature range of -25°C to +70°C. They are EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards and have been tested for shocks and vibrations according to IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, the sensors are easy to install and maintain, making them a reliable choice for various industrial applications.
