Datasensing AE1/AP-4FAN Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/AP-4FAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M8 unshielded design with NO/PNP connectivity, these sensors are suitable for hazardous environments, certified with II 3G Ex nA IIC T5 and II 3D Ex tD A22 IP67 T90°C ratings. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.24mm, they are optimized for standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors offer excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.47), aluminium (0.52), brass (0.58), and stainless steel (0.79). They maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy below 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and they support a switching frequency of 5kHz. Operating on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors have a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA. They are equipped with yellow LED indicators for output state and feature short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed with nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are designed for unshielded mounting with an M8 plug connection. The sensors are CE and UR approved, compliant with EMC standard IEC 60947-5-2, and withstand shocks and vibrations per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M8x1 nuts, they measure M8 x 1 with a length of 50mm and operate within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C, offering IP67 mechanical protection.
