The Datasensing AE1/CN-1FE5 Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a completely threaded M8 shielded design, these sensors operate with an NC/NPN output type, making them ideal for proximity detection applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 1.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 1.21mm, they are perfect for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensors offer excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.29), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.49), and stainless steel (0.78). Engineered for stability, the thermal drift of Sr is maintained at less than 10%, while repeat accuracy is under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring consistent performance. With a switching frequency of 5kHz and an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are versatile and efficient. They feature a no-load supply current of ? 10mA, a load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1.8V @200mA, and the sensors can handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. For user convenience, a yellow LED indicates the output state, and the sensors are ready for use within 50ms. They are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The robust nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material ensure durability, while the IP67 mechanical protection rating guarantees resistance to harsh environments. The sensors are supplied with two M8x1 nuts for easy installation and are approved with CE and UR certifications, meeting EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. They are designed to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards, making them a reliable choice for industrial applications.
