Datasensing AE1/CP-2A8R Sensors

The Datasensing AE1/CP-2A8R Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. This M8 unshielded sensor features a normally closed (NC) PNP output and comes with a 10-meter axial PVC cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 2.5mm and an operating range of 0 to 2.02mm, it is ideal for detecting standard targets of 8x8mm FE360. The sensor offers excellent correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.43), aluminium (0.51), brass (0.59), and stainless steel (0.83). It maintains high accuracy with a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy below 5% at 24V and 23°C. The sensor's hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and it operates at a switching frequency of 5kHz, with an operating voltage between 10 to 30Vdc. It ensures low power consumption with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensor is equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and features comprehensive protection, including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head, it is robust and durable, with an IP67 mechanical protection rating. The sensor is CE and UR approved, EMC compatible with IEC 60947-5-2 standards, and resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27. It includes two M8x1 nuts for secure mounting and operates efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C.
