Datasensing AK1/A0-2A Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/A0-2A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring an M18 unshielded NO cable with a 2m axial connection, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm. They are compatible with standard targets of 24x24mm FE360 and have a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). Engineered for durability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at UB 24V Ta=23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, they ensure consistent performance. The sensors support both NPN and PNP output types with a NO output function, operating at a switching frequency of 300Hz and a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. They maintain a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current between 3 to 100mA, with a leakage current of ? 0.8mA and an output voltage drop of ? 2.8V at 100mA. Designed for robust applications, these sensors include short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection, as well as protection against inductive loads. The housing is made of nickel-plated brass, ensuring a high degree of mechanical protection (IP67) and resistance to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED indicator for output state and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. With a compact design of M18 x 1 / L = 50mm and a weight of 130g, they are easy to install using the supplied M18x1 nuts and can withstand operating temperatures from -25°C to +70°C.
