Datasensing AK1/A0-2A8R Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/A0-2A8R Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M18 unshielded design, these sensors come with a 10-meter axial cable for flexible installation. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for various industrial applications. The sensors are equipped with a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for different materials such as copper (0.45), aluminium (0.53), brass (0.56), and stainless steel (0.77). They maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, ensuring reliable performance. These sensors function as proximity detectors with an NPN/PNP output type and a normally open (NO) output function. They support a switching frequency of 300Hz and operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc. The no-load supply current is ? 20mA, while the load current ranges from 3 to 100mA. The sensors feature a leakage current of ? 0.8mA and an output voltage drop of ? 2.8V at 100mA. They are designed to handle a maximum ripple content of ? 10% and include a yellow LED indicator for output state. Built with robust nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, these sensors offer IP67 mechanical protection and are resistant to shocks and vibrations as per IEC standards. They include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors are supplied with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting and are approved with CE and UR certifications. Operating efficiently in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C, they are an excellent choice for demanding environments.
