Datasensing AK1/CP-2AAN Sensors

The Datasensing AK1/CP-2AAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M18 unshielded design, these sensors operate with a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm. They are equipped with a PNP output type and an NC output function, ensuring reliable performance in various industrial applications. The sensors are ATEX certified for use in potentially explosive atmospheres, with approvals for II 3G Ex nA IIC T6 Gc and II 3D Ex tc IIIB T85°C Dc environments. Constructed with a robust nickel-plated brass housing and a PBT active head, these sensors offer excellent durability and resistance to harsh conditions. They feature a 2m PVC cable for easy connectivity and are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. The sensors operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 20mA and a load current of ? 400mA. The output voltage drop is minimal at ? 1V @400mA, and the sensors have a high switching frequency of 600Hz. With a thermal drift of Sr of less than 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C, these sensors ensure consistent performance. They also feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and have a mechanical protection rating of IP67, making them suitable for demanding environments. The sensors are compatible with standard targets of 24x24mm FE360 and have correction factors for various materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. Additionally, they come with two M18x1 nuts for secure mounting and have been tested for vibration and shock resistance according to IEC standards. Operating temperatures range from -25°C to +70°C, making them versatile for a wide range of applications.
