The Datasensing AK6/BP-4A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a compact M18 short unshielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) PNP output functions, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating range of 0 to 9.7mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 36x36mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a 2-meter PVC cable for easy installation and connectivity.
Built to withstand challenging environments, the AK6/BP-4A sensors boast a robust nickel-plated brass housing and an IP67 degree of protection, ensuring durability against dust and water ingress. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. The sensors also feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and have a high switching frequency of 2kHz.
With a low no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current capacity of ? 400mA, these sensors are energy-efficient while maintaining high performance. The AK6/BP-4A models are compliant with CE and UR approvals and meet EMC compatibility standards as per IEC 60947-5-2. Additionally, they come with supplied accessories, including two M18x1 nuts, for secure mounting. Whether for standard or long-distance applications, these sensors provide reliable proximity detection with minimal thermal drift and repeat accuracy.
