The Datasensing AM1/CP-4HAN Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precise proximity detection. Featuring an M12 unshielded NC/PNP connection, these sensors are suitable for hazardous environments with certifications II 3G Ex nA IIC T5 and II 3D Ex tD A22, ensuring reliable operation in challenging conditions. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating range of 0 to 6.48mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 24x24mm FE360. The sensors offer a correction factor for various materials, including copper (0.41), aluminium (0.46), brass (0.52), and stainless steel (0.71), ensuring versatile application across different surfaces.
Engineered for stability, the sensors exhibit a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. The hysteresis ranges from 1 to 20%, and the switching frequency reaches up to 2kHz, making them suitable for dynamic applications. Operating within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, they maintain a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA, with a leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA.
The sensors are equipped with yellow LED indicators for output state, and feature robust protection mechanisms including short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and protection against inductive loads. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, they are designed for durability and reliability. The M12 plug connection and supplied M12x1 nuts facilitate easy installation, while the IP67 mechanical protection ensures resistance to dust and water ingress.
