The Datasensing AM6/BN-3A Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a compact M12 short shielded design, these sensors offer both Normally Open (NO) and Normally Closed (NC) NPN output functions, making them versatile for various applications. With a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating range of 0 to 3.2mm, they are ideal for detecting standard targets of 12x12mm FE360. The sensors are equipped with a 2-meter axial cable for easy installation and connectivity.
Built to withstand challenging environments, the AM6/BN-3A sensors are housed in durable nickel-plated brass with an IP67 protection rating, ensuring resistance to dust and water ingress. They operate efficiently within a temperature range of -25°C to +70°C and are protected against short circuits, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive loads. The sensors feature a yellow LED indicator for output state visibility and have a switching frequency of 2kHz, ensuring fast and accurate performance.
These sensors are compatible with a wide range of models, including standard, short body, and long-distance variations, and are available with 2 or 3 wire configurations. For specialized environments, ATEX category 3 models can be requested. The AM6/BN-3A sensors are CE and UR approved, meeting IEC 60947-5-2 EMC compatibility standards, and are designed to endure shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, these sensors are ready for immediate deployment in your industrial applications.
