Datasensing AM9/AN-3H Sensors

The Datasensing AM9/AN-3H Sensors are high-performance inductive sensors designed for precision and reliability. Featuring a compact M12 short shielded design, these sensors offer a nominal sensing distance of 4mm and an operating distance of 0 to 3.2mm, making them ideal for various industrial applications. The sensors are equipped with a standard target size of 12x12mm FE360 and boast a correction factor for different materials: copper (0.33), aluminium (0.4), brass (0.5), and stainless steel (1.05). With a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C, these sensors ensure consistent performance. The AM9/AN-3H sensors function as proximity sensors with an NPN output type and NO output function, supporting a switching frequency of 2kHz. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 10mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The sensors feature a low output voltage drop of ? 1.8V at 200mA and a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. A yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensors are equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. Constructed with a nickel-plated brass housing and PBT active head material, these sensors are designed for durability and reliability. They are shielded for mounting and come with an M12 plug connection. The sensors are CE and UR approved, ensuring compliance with international standards, and offer EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2. They are built to withstand shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. With an IP67 mechanical protection rating, these sensors are suitable for harsh environments, operating in temperatures ranging from -25°C to +70°C. Supplied with two M12x1 nuts, the sensors have a tightening torque of 10Nm and dimensions of M12 x 1 / L = 46.3mm.
