The Datasensing FAR2/BN-0A Sensors offer a comprehensive range of M18 sensors designed for optimal performance with a 10...30 Vdc power supply. These sensors feature both axial and radial optics with a flat surface, making them ideal for various applications. The retro-reflective models are specifically designed for detecting transparent objects, utilizing a red emission and boasting an IP67 protection degree for enhanced durability. Available in both metallic and plastic housings, these sensors provide total protection against any type of electric damages, ensuring reliable operation in diverse environments.
Key features include a nominal sensing distance of 100mm, with a thermal drift of Sr at ?10% Sr and a repeat accuracy of 5%. The sensors operate on a diffuse reflection principle for short distances up to 200mm, with an axial optic position. They offer an NPN NO+NC output type and function, with a switching frequency of 250Hz and a response time of just 2ms. The operating voltage ranges from 10 to 30VDC, with a no-load supply current of ? 30mA and a load current of ?100mA. The sensors are equipped with LED indicators for easy status monitoring and feature short-circuit and reverse polarity protection for added safety.
