The Datasensing PFK1/BN-4H Sensors are designed with a robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. Equipped with an LED status indicator, these sensors offer reliable performance with IP67, IP68, and IP69K protection degrees, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. For environments requiring explosion protection, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. These sensors provide complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models. With a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and an operating distance of 0 to 9.7mm, they are ideal for precise proximity detection. The sensors feature a standard target size of 36x36mm FE360 and offer correction factors for various materials, including copper, aluminum, brass, and stainless steel. The PFK1/BN-4H Sensors boast a thermal drift of Sr less than 10% and repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They have a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and function as proximity sensors with NPN output type, offering both NO and NC output functions. With a switching frequency of 1.5kHz and an operating voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, these sensors are efficient and versatile. Additional features include a no-load supply current of ? 15mA, load current of ? 200mA, and a leakage current of ? 10?A. The output voltage drop is ? 2V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The sensors are equipped with a yellow LED output state indicator and have a time delay before availability of ? 50ms. They also include short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protection. The sensors are designed for unshielded mounting and have dimensions of M18 x 1 with a length of 63.1mm. Weighing 55g, they feature an M12 plug connection and an active head made of PPS material. The tightening torque is 50Nm, and they operate within a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure capability up to 100°C during cleaning processes.
