The Datasensing PFK1/BP-4HV5 Inductive Sensor is designed for precision and reliability in industrial applications. Featuring an unshielded D18 design, this sensor offers a nominal sensing distance of 12mm and operates effectively within a range of 0 to 9.7mm. It is optimized for a standard target size of 36x36mm FE360, with correction factors for various materials such as copper (0.30), aluminium (0.38), brass (0.42), and stainless steel (0.65). The sensor maintains a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and a repeat accuracy of less than 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. With a hysteresis range of 1 to 20%, it is suitable for proximity functions with a PNP output type and NO + NC output function. The sensor supports a switching frequency of 1.5kHz and operates on a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA. It features a low leakage current of ? 10?A and an output voltage drop of ? 2V at 200mA, with a maximum ripple content of ? 10%. The yellow LED indicator provides a clear output state, and the sensor is equipped with short-circuit, reverse polarity, impulsive overvoltage, and inductive load protections. Constructed with a robust AISI316L stainless steel housing and an active head made of PPS, it is designed for unshielded mounting with a tightening torque of 50Nm. The sensor is CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSY approved, ensuring compliance with EMC compatibility standards IEC 60947-5-2. It withstands shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27 standards. Supplied with two M18x1 nuts, the sensor measures M18 x 1 with a length of 63.1mm and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure tolerance up to 100°C during cleaning processes. It offers IP67 mechanical protection, making it ideal for demanding environments.
