The Datasensing PFM1/AP-4H Sensors are designed with a robust AISI 316L stainless steel housing, ensuring durability and resistance to harsh environments. Equipped with an LED status indicator, these sensors offer reliable performance with IP67, IP68, and IP69K protection degrees, making them suitable for a wide range of industrial applications. For environments requiring explosion protection, ATEX models, category 3, are available upon request. These sensors provide complete protection against electrical damages and are available in both standard and long-distance models. With a nominal sensing distance of 8mm and an operating distance of 0 to 6.48mm, the PFM1/AP-4H Sensors are optimized for precision. They feature a standard target size of 24x24mm FE360 and offer correction factors for various materials, including copper (0.33), aluminium (0.40), brass (0.45), and stainless steel (0.75). The sensors maintain a thermal drift of Sr under 10% and repeat accuracy under 5% at 24V and 23°C ±5°C. They operate with a hysteresis range of 1 to 20% and a switching frequency of 2kHz. Designed for proximity functions, these sensors have a PNP output type with a normally open (NO) output function. They operate within a voltage range of 10 to 30Vdc, with a no-load supply current of ? 15mA and a load current of ? 200mA. The output voltage drop is ? 2V at 200mA, and they feature short-circuit, reverse polarity, and impulsive overvoltage protection. The sensors are unshielded and mountable with an M12 plug connection, and they come with two M12x1 nuts for easy installation. The PFM1/AP-4H Sensors are designed to withstand extreme temperatures, operating from -40°C to +80°C, with short exposure capability up to 100°C during cleaning processes. They are CE, cULus, ECOLAB, and DIVERSEY approved, ensuring compliance with international standards. With EMC compatibility per IEC 60947-5-2 and resistance to shocks and vibrations as per IEC 60068-2-6 and IEC 60068-2-27, these sensors are built for reliability in demanding conditions.
