Description

8911 definite purpose starters are inexpensive starters for applications with relatively low duty cycles. Typical applications include air compressors, agricultural equipment, pumps, and HVAC equipment. The starter comes nonreplaceable coil is available with a variety of coil voltages as well as auxillary contacts. All definite purpose starters hav melting alloy type overload relay uses Type B thermal units to sense over current conditions. This three pole definite purpose starter has a full load rating of 30 amperes. Starter is supplied with a 208 to 240 VAC 60 HZ and 220 VAC 50 Hz coil. This starter has ratings of 2 HP at 115 VAC and 5 HP at 230 VAC single phase. It has a rating of 10 HP at 230 VAC, 20 HP 460 VAC and 25 HP at 575 VAC poly phase. This definite purpose starter is open style starter. 8911DPS definite purpose starters are UL component recognized.
